Helen Pettemerides – Personal Trainer
Helen Pettemerides has been a Personal Trainer for over 6 years in the Bath area and in that time has worked in various gyms and trained a variety of clients. Her clients are all different and working towards varying goals......from those wanting to lose weight, recover from an injury or run a half marathon. Helen's client base consists of men and women of all ages from 17 through to 81!
Helen is mainly based in the studio gym in Batheaston but does one morning a week at Green Tree Health in Bradford on Avon. She is available for fitness work based around weight loss, toning up or injury re-hab. She also provides programmes for clients with medical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes or arthritis. Running is a favourite past time for Helen and she can design running programmes from beginner level through to marathons.
Helen is also the instructor on the running courses and bootcamp.
Helen qualified through Premier Training and registered at Advanced Level 3 with the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS). She is also on the National Register of Personal Trainers.

Helen's interests mainly include keeping fit and active and she likes to take part in various half marathons and 10km races. In June 2012, Helen completed her first ‘ultra’ marathon by running 69 miles in 2 days along Hadrians’ Wall in aid of Dorothy House Hospice. She also likes to walk her springer spaniel and support Bath Rugby
Kirstie Morrison – Sports Massage Therapist & Personal Trainer
Kirstie trained as a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist in 2006 and has held various roles in gyms in the Bath area ever since. More recently Kirstie has concentrated on Sports Massage and in her quest for knowledge she is studying Clinical Sports & Remedial Massage Therapy with The Massage Training School.
Kirstie is also available for Personal Training at the gym in Batheaston. She has a special interest in training clients for sporting events such as Triathlons and those recovering from injuries.
A huge part of Kirsties’ life is taken up with fitness and sports and she is a multisport endurance athlete who has represented GB at the World Duathlon Championships. She is currently moving up the distances in triathlon, relishing the adventure of discovering how far and how fast she can push herself!
Wendy Dewar – Pilates Teacher
Wendy sustained numerous injuries in her early career as a professional dancer and turned to Pilates in the 90s with the aim of restoring balance to her body and to recuperate from injury. She is a keen dance fan and finds the control and choreographic flow of Pilates complements her love of dance and movement.
Wendy trained with Suzanne Scott at the Scott Studio for the Pilates Foundation and is a qualified Matwork teacher. She is a member of the Pilates Foundation, the Independent Pilates Teachers Association and the Register of Exercise Professionals. She is REPS level 2 qualified in Exercise to Music and holds a certificate for Core Stability.
Recent CPD courses have included living with Hypermobility Syndrome, Sole to Spine, Thorax to Wrist and she has a keen interest in gait, balance and falls prevention.
Wendy grew up in Bath and lives with her husband in Batheaston. She believes everyone needs movement and good mobility in their lives, and is passionate that functional Pilates provides huge benefits to your body, mind and soul - regardless of age. It's for everyone.
Andrea Hoelzemann – Yoga Teacher
After practising dance and dance-related exercises like Callanetics (a mixture of ballet, gymnastic and Yoga) and Pilates (originally a training-method for dancers) since her youth Andrea wanted to dive deeper. That is what made her start practising Hatha Yoga and become a Yoga-teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga.
All Personal Trainers are on the Register of Exercise Professionals (Level 3) and Helen is on the National Register of Personal Trainers.
